its called a Theremin! They are very cool and can make some great sounds! my brother had one and we had some great fun with it and he acctually made it sound good! sometimes!
It’s called a Theremin. Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin also used one in "Whole Lotta Love" as shown in their movie "The Song Remains the Same"
