Best/recommended DJ equipment to sample with?

Need some experienced opinions on this.
I have:
2 Technics SL-1200mk2 direct drives
a Behringer DJX700
some Technics RP-DH1200 headphones
2 Shure M44-7 needles mounted on Technics cartridges

Can audio equipment go through an xray?

I am travelling soon and need to take audio equipment on a plane with me. I am wondering if the xray machine will interfere with any of my equipment?

How do I get my headphone to work while I am playing a song on a Dj mixer software?

Can anyone tell me how do I listen to a track on the headphones while I am playing a song on the computer? I downloaded this Dj mixer software but can seem to figure out how to listen to one track on the headphones while playing another track out loud. Please anyone help.
