It is evident that a professional DJ, such as me after have been DJing at parties, birthdays, weddings, and actually all kinds of venues for about 5 years now knows a lot about this field.

If they tell you the wedding will have 20% of the people between ages 14-22, 30% between ages 15-45 and the rest 50% will be over 46 years old, then you have to prepare music that was popular when these 50% were young, means music from the '70-'80. If you'll bring these guys only contemporary music, many of them won't dance fully as they can. This is your reputation; you better do your best from the start.
- Don't be miser
Clients never hire you to work and pay unless you have experience. To get into the market, make some free events, just go and find clients for whom you'll give your service as a present. It's the best way to get clients.
- Give more than expected
Always give more than you are expected. This will leave a good taste in your clients' mouth and they will spread your name as a real pro.
