can i plug a powered speaker straight into my dj mixer without an external amp?

I have a NUMARK DXM06 dj mixer and it has 2 1/4" jacks for master volume as well as regular RCA cables. Can i plug powered speakers straight into the 1/4" jacks on the mixer without needing an amp???

    Yes. Connect the powered speaker to a line level output.

    Yes you can use the 1/4" or the RCA. The RCA should give you a cleaner sound since they are line level and not amplified. Then use the volume on your powered speaker to adjust and get them in sequence with the volume controls on the Numark.
